School of Lax

The School of Lax makes its return to the Lax Haus once again under the leadership of Coach Jackson.  This is a strength and conditioning based program that will focus on enhancing our athletes' speed and strength.  These two things are very critical when it comes to the lacrosse field.  With the School of Lax program, we are hoping to not only make each player involved faster and stronger but make sure that those newfound abilities transfer to the lacrosse field.  Each session will include different speed and strength exercises, along with lacrosse specific movements throughout.  The main goal of the School of Lax is to make our athletes not only better lacrosse players but to also make sure they are the toughest players on the field at all times.

-Intense workouts: these will include different workouts to strengthen the entire body to be the best possible athlete

-Teaching proper technique: making sure our players have proper sprint technique (yes, there is a technique in running) along with proper lifting technique to stay healthy and get stronger

-Teaching players why we train certain ways so they understand the purpose behind the exercises
